Mark has an MBA (WBS), an MSc in Public Policy & Management (London), as well as a post-graduate Certificate in Leadership Coaching (WBS). Dear Mark,
I have just read Gisele's obit int the Art Times. Our family hold Gisele so dear, and celebrate the live of an extraordinary South African. Her generosity of spirit and her gentleness allowed her to share her experience with such grace. I hadn't heard the story of Gisele's 'prison song', and today that lifts my heart.
You are in our thoughts.

I read Gisele's obituary today in yesterday's Sunday Times. Our deepest condolences to you, the boys and the family. By all accounts, she was indeed a creative, loving and much loved human being, and we can only but imagine the sense of loss,after her long illness. You are in our thoughts at this time of personal grief. Mario and Pat.
Dear Mark,
I am glad I have found this site and am able to tell you and Gisele and your sons how much she will be missed. You know this already, but I hope you will allow me to reiterate it.
She was highly respected by everyone who worked for her, she had a gentle manner, a wry laugh and way of looking at life and could make everyone feel comfortable even in the most awkward of situations. I have known her for so long it is difficult to imagine she is no longer here. She belonged to the greatest set of photographers and journalists South Africa has ever known, and was and is, eminent among them.
The people of South Africa owe much to her art, persistence and quiet persuasive voice that will continue to speak to us through her work.
She loved you and her sons dearly, please take this as my tribute to her and the three of you.

I was very happy to have re-met Gisele after many years while I was filming a documentary with Paul Weinberg about the Afripix years. we spent the day with Gisele at her lovely home and I was struck and moved by her stoicism and warmth as she spoke about her condition. She was a great talent and a wonderful person. Her legacy is there for all to see and for us South Africans to revel in. Hamba Khahle Gisele. warmest wishes to Mark and the family
